School Rules and Regulations

  1. Arrival Timings - Parents are requested to see their wards are inside the school premises before the bell rings.
    Pre-Nursery 9:00 am to 12:00 noon
    Nursery 7:40 am to 12:00 noon
    UKG 7:40 am to 12:30 pm
    Classes I & II 7:40 am to 12:40 pm
    Classes III to VII 7:40 am to 1:40 pm
    School gates will close exactly at the above mentioned time. If it so happens that your ward is at the school gate after the given time and the gates are closed then your ward would not be the responsibility of the school.
  2. Dispersal - You are requested to pick your ward exactly at dispersal time (for parent students). If any reason you aren’t able to pick your child in the afternoon then kindly send a responsible person with an authority letter and DISPERSAL CARDto pick your child. Also give prior information at the school reception. (After 30 minutes of the dispersal, school authorities are not responsible for the safety of the child.)
  3. Dispersal Card - Kindly fill child’s details and stick photograph on the DISPERSAL CARD Parents are requested to sign at the back of the card.
  4. School Transport - The school transport service operates on certain routes depending on the number of students who opt for it. If there is no-one to receive the child at the bus stop in the afternoon ,the child will be taken back to the school and it will be the parents responsibility to collect him /her from the school office. You are requested to reach the bus stops at least 5 minutes before the scheduled time to ensure that transport reach school on time
  5. Parent Teacher Meeting - PTM is between Parents& teachers to strengthen the communication between home and the school. It should be utilized as a platform to interact with the teachers to be well informed regarding the academic progress and behaviour of the child. It is mandatory to attend the PTM along with your ward. Children should be dressed in school uniform.
  6. Uniform Code - It is mandatory for all children to come dressed in prescribed school uniform. Students shall not be allowed to enter school premises in case they are not in appropriate uniform code as laid down by the school.

  8. Personal Grooming - Please ensure that your ward leaves for school in clean uniform, polished shoes & neatly combed hair for general appearance is very important for school going children. Students need to come to the school well dressed, neat and clean. Personal hygiene is very important. Morning bath is a must for all the students. Nails to be trimmed regularly.
  9. RFID Card - Keeping in mind child’s safety school has installed RFID entry for the students. Each child is provided RFID Card.

    Change of ID details As a matter of TOP PRIORITY, you are requested to inform the school in written if there is any change in the residential address, telephone number and email address

  10. School DiaryThe student diary is to be used as a means of communication with the school. Please check your child’s diary and sign notes sent to you by school, toBooks & Notebooks acknowledge having read them. It has all the necessary information related to the school rules and regulations, uniform, school timings etc. Students are to bring school diary regularly to the school.
  11. Break TimeA nutritious & healthy dry snack, a fruit and a cloth mat must be brought to school for break every day.
  12. Labelling of BelongingsPlease label all belongings that your child brings to school so that they can be easily identified incase they get misplaced. These include uniform, shoes, water bottles, lunch boxes, books, notebooks and other personal belongings.
  13. Books & NotebooksKindly write your child’s name and class and send all books & notebooks to school. Ensure all notebooks &books labelled and covered with a plastic sheet.
  14. Time TableThe school provides with a class time table to each class. Students are instructed to bring their books or notebooks according to the time table. Help your ward to pack his /her school bag regularly. Ensure he/she carries the required material to school daily.
  15. Birthday Dress CodeStudents of classes Pre-Primary can come in casuals on their birthday. Students from classes I onwards shall wear school uniform. Avoid sending expensive gifts.
  16. Home Work ScheduleWe encourage you to supervise and guide the children as they complete their work at home, but request you not to do it for them. Ensure that your ward completes his/her homework on time . He/she will be tested of regularity in completion of the assigned work.
  17. Attendance75% attendance is compulsory for getting promotion to the next class. Your ward will not be allowed to sit for Term Exams if he/she falls short of attendance. You are required to keep a track on your ward’s regularity to school. If your child is absent from school, then inform the school by sending an application. It is important that you explain the reasons for your child’s absence to the class teacher or the Head of school.
  18. LibraryIssued books are to be returned by the date given or else fine shall be charged. You have to bear the cost of the library book if it gets lost. Your ward has to pay library fine of Rs.5/- everyday if he/she doesn’t return the book onthe scheduled day and date.
  19. Class LibraryAll the classes will maintain a class library. All parents are requested to send one story book according to the class level of their ward. All classes will have a dedicated reading time in their class time table. Parents please ensure that the story books should be in good condition.
  20. ClubsWe have introduced clubs from classes 1 onwards where the students choose the clubs on the basis of their interests.( Club circular attached)
  21. Holiday RequestsParents are not permitted to take their children out of school for holidays during term time except under exceptional circumstances when permission has been authorised by the Head of School. We request parents to try and make regular medical/personal appointments after school hours or during the school holidays. We understand that in the event of an emergency this will not be the case.
  22. School Holidays The school will remain closed on Second & Fourth Saturdays and on gazetted holidays. We shall intimate regularly regarding holidays via SMS.
  23. News BulletinNews Bulletin will be shared on monthly basis with all activity details. Ensure that your ward is prepared and brings required material on the day of the activity mentioned.
  24. Child’s Safety & SecurityIt will be the endeavour of the school to take all reasonable measures and precautions to ensure the physical safety of the student. However, the school will not be liable for any damages/charges in the physical safety of the students .However, the school will not be liable for any damages / charges in the event of injury to students during their stay in school premises or during the injuries by school bus to and from the school; or during excursion trips beyond the school .This includes the injuries caused to the student by another fellow student. All expenses in the treatment of such injuries will be borne by the parents/ guardian.
  25. Medical Check upAn annual health check up including dental and eye check-up by specialists is a regular feature along with maintaining medical record of each and every child. Health advisory on prevention of various illnesses like swine flu, dengue, chicken pox, etc. is also a regular feature.
    • Students will be provided first aid only in the school premises in case of medical problem.
    • In case of chronic diseases, school will only inform the parents telephonically. Parents will be expected to reach school at the earliest.
    • Expenses on first aid will be borne by the school. All other expenses in case of hospitalization/ visit to private clinic/ medicine will be borne by the parents.
